ISRT Lecturer K.M. Tanvir Achieves 1st Runner-Up Position at VisionX 2025 National AI Innovation Challenge held on November 15, 2025

Twenty-three meritorious students and one distinguished faculty member from the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka, were honored with the prestigious Dean’s Award under the Faculty of Science for the academic sessions 2021, 2022, and 2023 on November 15, 2025.

ISRT hosted a vibrant event on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the TSC Auditorium to welcome the 31st batch of students and the third cohort of the Applied Statistics and Data Science program, while bidding farewell to the outgoing 26th batch.

Winning team. The ISRT football team claimed a remarkable victory against the Applied Chemistry team in the Dhaka University Inter-Department Football Tournament 2025 on October 28.

Nijam Uddin Sarkar, a Master’s student of the 27th batch, has brought international acclaim by representing Bangladesh at two major youth summits in Bangkok and Tokyo in August and September 2025.

 

ISRT successfully conducted its sixth on-campus training program on “R for Applied Statistics and Data Science”, which ran from June 19 to July 3, 2025
