ABSTRACT
This talk will address the basic issues related to sample size determination. The reason for sample size determination along with its fundamental logic will be covered. The sample size determination method for some commonly encountered sampling designs will be demonstrated and consequence of any misspecification will discussed. This talk would be helpful for the students preparing for primary data collection as well as for any practitioners needing clarification of the issue.
